Rail lubrication system moklansa E3S

Wheels and rails are better conserved and wears on the components of the track guide system is clearly mitigated through the installation of the E3S.

This leads to less maintenance work, the idle times of the tracks and switches are extended. The precisely dosed rail head wetting system (SKBS) is also the material of choice to minimize noise. Neighborhoods will also be thankful: Clearly reduced noise will also promote the acceptance of rail traffic operations.

The electronic rail lubrication system E3S has been tried and tested over several years of continued application in public railroads, by rail operators, commuter rail operators and in the industrial sector worldwide.

The underlying principle is convincing: Lubricant dosed only as much as required, is applied on the contact surfaces between the wheel and the track or element of the track guide, the running wheel takes the lubricant along, rolls it off again and thus ensures its distribution in the wearing zones. Lubrication channels in the form of Y boring are brought to bear on the track for the application of the lubricant. These borings do not lead to any weakening of the rail that may eventually result in rail fracture; even an axle load of 30 tons such as in heavy load transport, will pose no problem.
